My Review:
Wow. I am seriously shocked at how much I didn't like this book. I think the first problem is that it is way too long for the plot. This book has so much filler, it got to the point where I found it hard to follow. There is also quite a few times where I caught myself skipping paragraphs and mumbling "so cheesy". As a huge Cassandra Clare fan, I was expecting to devour and love this book, however, I experienced the complete opposite. Reading this book became a chore.
Another thing I didn't like was that the characters seem too young for their dialog and issues. I kept picturing them as twenty year olds, even though it clearly states in the book that they're only around sixteen or seventeen.
Overall, this book is a big disappointment for me. WAY too much filler, there are parts where I found it comically cheesy, and the dialog of the characters is really lacking in that special Cassie Clare humour. I'm really sad that this is the last impression I'll have of these characters.
